The Arts Society Nidd Valley, Welcome!

Our Society is a member of The Arts Society, a national leading arts charity, which opens up the world of art through a national network of 375 local societies. We are based in Harrogate and our aims are to increase our own understanding and enjoyment of art, to foster friendships and to support arts education and conservation, particularly locally.

The social aspect of membership is important in everything that we do. We use regular Newsletters and emails for keeping in touch with our members.

Our programme provides a monthly opportunity to hear expert lectures on varied aspects of the Arts - painting, theatre, music, sculpture, architecture - given by specialists in their field.

In addition to the monthly lectures, we run a series of outings and trips. Please click here to see the future visits planned for 2026-2027.

We are a friendly and welcoming group, sharing a love of the Arts.  Guests and new members are most welcome.  Visit our JOIN US page for more details. Do Join Us!
